For spotted show quality kittens, prices depend on the coat color, and contrast. Most kittens are $1,700 with a special few being more.

Keep in mind that the price a breeder charges for their kittens can be a reflection of how much care the breeder gives, not only to their kittens but also for the health and well being of the adult cats in their colony. High quality food, fresh litter boxes, in addition to routine veterinary and reproductive care come at a price.

During your search, if you are finding kittens at rock bottom prices, keep in mind they may not be a bargain.  In fact, you may make up the difference in price in costly veterinary bills.  Low prices can be an indication that the breeder’s colony is not receiving the high quality care breeding queens and their kittens deserve.
