Purchase Agreement is between Cosmic Spots Ocicats (the
Sellers) and the Purchaser listed below.

Registration
The litter has
been registered with the Cat Fancier's Association (CFA).
An application with instructions for "registration of a
kitten of a registered litter" is included and must be
mailed by the purchaser with the appropriate registration
fee. If a Pedigree is desired for your kitten, it may be
obtained for a small fee from the CFA at the same time you
register the kitten.
Conditions of this Agreement
·
This
kitten is
purchased as a pet. Breeding
rights are not
included with this kitten.
Purchaser agrees to have the
kitten altered between the ages of 6-7 months.
·
This
kitten is
not to be declawed,
as declawing is an inhumane act.
·
Adequate indoor sanitary facilities must be provided, and
this kitten will not be allowed to roam outdoors.
·
The
purchaser agrees that this kitten will always receive prompt
medical care.
·
If
this kitten is found to be neglected or in ill health for an
unreasonable length of time, the Purchaser will surrender
said kitten to the Seller unconditionally.
·
Under no circumstance is this kitten to be sold, leased or
given to any pet shop, animal shelter, research laboratory
or similar facility.
·
The Purchaser agrees not to resell, transfer or give away
the kitten without giving the Seller the first option to
readopt the kitten.
·
The Seller agrees to provide copies of the kitten's current
medical records.
Health
Guarantee
·
The Seller guarantees that this kitten is in
good health and apparently free of any inherited or genetic
conditions at the time of pickup/shipping.
·
Any known and disclosed health issues are not covered under
the health guarantee. Known health issues: None
·
The Purchaser is advised to isolate the kitten from all
other pets and have the kitten examined by a certified
Veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the kitten.
·
The Seller must be notified in writing within the first 72
hours of any health concerns identified by the Purchaser's
veterinarian. If the kitten is found not to be in good
health, the kitten may be returned for a full refund. We do
not pay Veterinarian fees of any kind.
Failure to have the kitten inspected by a veterinarian with
in 72 hours of pick up will void this health guarantee.

The Seller guarantees that the Seller's cattery is FeLV
negative. The Purchaser may have the cat/kitten tested
within the first three days of purchase for verification at
the Purchaser’s expense.
·
The Seller’s kittens come with the first set of
immunizations and deworming. Additional vaccinations and
deworming as required by a veterinarian will be done at the
Purchaser’s expense and should be given to the cat/kitten
after it has acclimated to its new home (i.e., not
administered during the initial health check).
·
The Purchaser is responsible for all veterinary bills that
accrue from date and time and place of receiving the kitten.
·
The Purchaser grants the Seller full access to the kitten's
health records and the right to the consult with the
Purchaser's veterinarian.
·
All health guarantees are void if :
o
Failure to have the kitten inspected by a veterinarian
within 72 hours of receiving it.
o
the kitten is vaccinated against rabies within three weeks
of the administration of any other vaccination
o
the kitten is vaccinated while not in good health
·
The Cattery liability is limited to a replacement kitten or
refund in full, and does not include any transportation,
shipping or veterinarian fees.
·
The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will govern
this agreement. The Purchaser agrees to pay all court costs
if this contract is litigated.
As the
Purchaser, I accept this contract and agree to abide by the
terms thereof. I understand that this contract contains
terms that may constitute co-ownership.
